According to AP reports, the end-of-life consolation provision has been pulled from the proposed Health Care Reform bill.   Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) who is the top Republican on the Senate Finance Committee said that this portion of the bill was dropped due to the vagueness in its definition and that it could easily be misinterpreted or implemented incorrectly.

Let’s hope this will stay omitted.  Frankly, let’s hope that the entire Congress will have second thoughts on the idiotic proposal for Health Care Reform and come up with a more reasonable and economically feasible plan.
