Whine, whine, whine.
That’s all Democrats seem to be doing these days. For a party who holds all the power in DC – White House, Senate, House – it is absolutely absurd that Democratic leaders are now blaming the GOP for what looks to be a no-go on health care reform.
Politico.com has a great piece today by MIKE ALLEN & CARRIE BUDOFF BROWN. In their article, they quote a Republican aide who states, “’It’s nice spin to try and pin their [Democrats’] problems on the GOP,’ the GOP aide said. ‘But they have such big majorities in Congress that they don’t need a single Republican vote to move their agenda. We could all stay home and they would still have 60 votes in the Senate. This is about getting around the reasonable wing of the Democrat party, and the clearest indication yet that their own party is divided on government health care, cuts to Medicare and taxes on small business.’”
